Jamaica’s practice is as dynamic as the modalities she offers. Her training encompasses Neuromuscular Techniques, Prenatal Massage, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Dry Brushing, Reiki, and Cupping. Though she is happy to offer all these to clients, her profound experiences with Trigger Point, Reiki, and Manual Lymph Drainage/Complete Decongestive Therapy have led her to focus on these powerful, healing modalities. They work on different levels to help the body move through pain and stagnation. Trigger Point uses pressure to move through pain. Manual Lymph Drainage uses gentle rhythmic touch to move lymphatic fluid, relieving inflammation and swelling. The body is a dynamic, complex vessel with many layers, and her goal is to release its own unique healing capabilities.

Jamaica has been practicing for over 6 years in Humboldt County. She attended Arcata School of Massage, Loving Hands, and Dr. Vodder International, the preeminent program in the lymphatic field. It is still taught in its unaltered form today. Continued education classes have consisted of over 2,000 hours of extensive Trigger Point training with Jack Collins, shoulder and low back pain management with Dr. James Mally, Reiki with Helionnah, Massage Cupping with Dr. James Mally, Venous Wound Care with Medi University, Lymphatic Medical Taping Course with Thysol, and updated MLD reviews. Jamaica’s desire to excel is continuous.
